About isThink
isThink was originally an informal name for a group of friends (The Richardson Brothers, Angel, and me) who felt that we were better off doing our own projects than we were working for The Man. If we were better at getting clients, we might have been right. ;-)
When I left Penn State in 2010, another friend needed a company name and someone to help him figure out how to put together IT project requirements, so I asked the first group of friends if I could use the name, and they said I could. He has some project going on involving HPC and DB clusters, so I set up two mockups and used that experience to help him write design requirements; and I've been working on a specialized point-of-sale system based on some old code I wrote for him almost a decade ago.
